Sajin Vass asks Swarnavahini to name Pabha as the Mega Star

The President’s secret financial coordinator and parliamentarian Sajin Vass Gunawardena has put pressure on a head of the Swarnavahini channel to name parliamentarian Upeksha Swarnamali also known as Pabha, as the winner of Mega Star, sources said.Mega Star is a programme telecast on the Swarnavahini channel.Sources also said that parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake, who was also among the seven finalists in the show, has been forced to quit due to pressure placed by Sajin on the heads of the channel.During discussions between Sajin and Pabha’s husband Mahesh, about the UNP parliamentarian crossing over to the government, Sajin had also promised that he would make Pabha win the mega Star contest.i
Reliable sources also said that although Sajin had promised Rs. 50 million to Pabha’s husband to ensure his wife crossed over to the government, only a sum of Rs. 30 million had been paid so far.
